We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience to support day-to-day human resources operations and employee engagement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, detail-oriented, and confident handling sensitive employee matters while supporting managers and employees across the organization.
Key responsibilities include managing employee relations issues, conducting new hire orientation and onboarding, maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws, assisting with policy administration and interpretation, supporting performance management processes, and ensuring accurate employee records and HR documentation.
What You Will Do
Facilitate HR programs and initiatives.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues, policies, and compliance matters.
Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend resolutions or corrective actions.
Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR best practices.
Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs
Maintain HR records, prepare month-end and ad hoc reports, and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 3-5 years progressive HR exeperience in a Generalist role; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP,) a plus; strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices; excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and HR metrics.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, Paycom preferred, or similar system.
Other Skills
The successful candidate must have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and experience handling confidential information with discretion. Experience in construction, service, or multi-location environments is a plus.
This position is based in Duluth, GA and requires 5 days in-office; no remote or hybrid available.
